We developed a pigment remover based on alkaline solutions in our own laboratory in Munich, true to the principle As gentle as possible, as effective as necessary! Depending on the pH value of the skin, the alkaline solution of pigment removers can penetrate deeper into the skin than pigment removers that contain acid or salts. A treatment with Bye-Bye is extremely effective and less traumatic for the skin.

When used correctly, the risk of scarring is low and all pigments (including camouflage pigments) may be removed, depending on the depth of the PMU or tattoo. Bye-Bye Pigment LIGHT contains no acids or toxic ingredients. Does not contain alcohol.

If you are not working with a LONG-TIME-LINER device, please bring your own device to the training course. If you are using a LONG-TIME-LINER device, you can work with one of our pmu devices during the training and you do not have to bring your own.

If you do not want to attend a pmu removal training in person in our pmu training academy, there are also online remover trainings offered on a regular basis.

How does Bye-Bye Pigment LIGHT work?
Using the LONG-TIME-LINER Conture Liner DUO micropigmentation device, the pigment remover is brought into the skin. It comes to a chemical extraction of the existing colour pigments in the skin. The colour pigments and the remover solution form a compound that is then transported to the surface of the skin.
How long is the duration of the treatment?
In order to achieve the best possible success and to treat the skin as gently as possible, several sessions with Bye-Bye Pigment must be performed. For a removal usually 4-5 treatments are necessary. Depending on the depth, age and colors of the existing micropigmentation/tattoo, this can vary.
The duration of a session depends on the size of the area which needs to be treated, but takes approx. 30 minutes.
Is the treatment painful?
The remover solution is inserted into the skin with a needle. It penetrates deeper into the skin than a usual micropigmentation. Depending on the personal sensation of pain, the treatment can be perceived as unpleasant or painful.
Does a crust develop after the treatment?
Yes, the color pigments which are being transported to the surface of the skin form a crust. During the regeneration process of the skin, the crust is going to fall off after about 10 days. There may also be skin depressions, slight redness and swelling after the treatment, which may last for a few days or weeks, depending on the sensitivity of the skin.
Is it possible to remove microblading with Bye-bye Pigment LIGHT?
Usually it is also possible to remove micropigmentations that have been made with the technique of microblading. Please contact us for a free and non-binding consultation.
How much does the treatment with Bye-Bye Pigment LIGHT cost?
Since the duration of the treatment depends on the particular pigmentation or tattoo, in our Beauty Institute in Munich, Germany we charge each session individually.

Can the existing micropigmentation/tattoo be completely removed?
A successful treatment with Bye-Bye pigment depends on the depth, age and colors of the existing micropigmentation/tattoo, as well as the correct care after the treatment. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any micropigmentation/tattoo can be completely removed. Usually, however, the treatment is promising and the existing micropigmentation/tattoo can mostly be removed.
Can the area be micropigmented again after a treatment with Bye-Bye Pigment LIGHT?
Yes, that is usually possible. However, if you desire a micropigmentation of the same area after the treatment with Bye-Bye Pigment is completed, the skin must fully regenerate first. Therefore, we recommend micropigmenting the treated area after 8 weeks the earliest.
When is a treatment not possible?
Bye-bye pigment cannot be used if you

  • have unhealed skin injuries
  • are allergic to one or more ingredients of the pigment remover
  • have HIV, hepatitis or another infectious disease
  • take certain medications. Please consult our PMU professionals at our Beauty Institute, if you take   any medications on a regular basis
  • have an immune disease
  • suffering from cancer
  • are pregnant or are breastfeeding
  • tend to hypersensitive skin
